About

Howdy Y’all!… Welcome!

The Round Up Cowboy Church is deeply connected to the “cowboy community”.

We worship one God, and love serving Him and gatherin’ with His people in the western sort of way! We worship and fellowship together in music, message, and all kinds of events. We’re a family church, planning to expand our facilities to include more events,  some foot stompin’ music, and fun for everyone. We encourage you to come and be apart of a great church that is based on “building relationships’ with the Lord and also the RUCC community. We plan to do bigger and better things for the Lord in 2019, so come serve with us.

If we can pray for you, your situation or your family please let us know. And we hope you will pray for our community, our church, each other and our new and future members. Y’all come be apart!

Come and meet our Pastor and leaders – they are some special folks!

How RUCC Got It’s Start:

The Round Up Cowboy Church began in Blue Ridge, Tx in July 2011. After approx. two years at this site the leadership team and congregation began the search for another better suited site with enough acreage to build an arena for their rodeo events. Then, in August 2013 God led the growing congregation to a great location just down the road on state highway 78, just south of Blue Ridge, Tx.  It was a worn-out hay barn on twenty-one acres in Farmersville, Tx–that suited folks well.

The leadership and congregation of RUCC began cleaning and remodeling the old worn out hay barn and made it into an awesome place of worship. Their have been many lives changed in the “old worn out haybarn” and God continues to bless his work within the RUCC barn as we try and reach the lost in our community.

After the church was completed work began on the arena and it was completed in early 2017 and it was ready for use. This last summer 2018 we held our first summer “buckle-series” playdays with several attending and completing the events necessary to win that “prized buckle”.

Pastor Rick Emmert said “God has blessed RUCC in ways we could never have imagined, and in extraordinary ways…with blessings beyond measure” since moving to the new location on highway 78. Pastor Rick and the RUCC congregation are in hopes to add to their facilities in 2019 to better facilitate the growth that has come to the area and our church.

If you are looking for an Spirit filled, horse kik’n place to worship, come and check out the friendliest, most accepting congregation around. “Our visitors enter as guests and leave as family.”

We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
